Long & Ferguson is
I am a creative, proactive professional with a strong background in private and public services sectors. I have worked in two specific areas during my career; administration and engagement.
For the first part of worklife I was a senior Executive Assistant at board level, liaising with directors and Trustees. I worked for a number of corporate organisations in London, Birmingham and Manchester including Bank of New York, Citibank, Richard Ellis, Chesterton, King Sturge. I also worked freelance as an Executive PA which provided great experience to develop my people skills.
For the latter part of my career I worked for Eversheds and for a long period with the RSA focusing on people and relationship management. I have developed sponsorship opportunities, developed fundraising campaigns and created events for corporate clients and membership organisations. Recently I focused on developing volunteer and stakeholder engagement strategies that inspire people to participate and work with organisations.
For over 20 years I have been designing and delivering event activity from regular networks to major corporate social hospitality. I have organised conferences, meetings and discussion dinners. I can deliver workshops, lectures, debates and forums.
Now I provide freelance bespoke, professional administration and support for individuals and organisations. I specialise in creating tailored online marketing expertise and stakeholder management through events, networks and activity. I am used to working with people at all levels and happy to work on the big ideas as well as the practical administration stuff.
Originally from London, I now live in Stockport, South Manchester with my husband, Jim and our dogs.
